As a business owner and mother, I found juggling work, home life, and motherhood very stressful. I felt a responsibility to be a good employer and a good mother, whilst trying to also juggle all the daily pressures of life.
I thought I never had time – or at least I never took the time to consider the toll it took on my own mental and physical health.
As much as we would like to – we simply can’t be everything to everyone – without first, taking care of ourselves.
I tried a lot of solutions. In my own journey, I found body massage and facial therapy to be an extremely effective way to de-stress and separate me emotionally and physically from everyday life. Even just for an hour!!
